Vintage Franklin D. Roosevelt "Our President" Inauguration Pennant, 1941

Description

Presented is a vintage pennant celebrating the inauguration of Franklin D. Roosevelt. The felt pennant has a maroon field with a white headband and matching maroon ties. A portrait of FDR is printed on the field as well as the words, "Inauguration / January 20, 1941." Just below the portrait, another satin cloth is adhered to the pennant reading, "Our President." Sworn in as the 32nd president, FDR's legacy includes his "New Deal" and the beginnings of U.S. involvement in WWII.
